GRIT’s podcast already delivered strong expertise and had begun building a loyal audience. However, it lacked a cohesive brand strategy, limiting its ability to differentiate and scale. Without a defined positioning or unifying creative direction, Landing Pad felt indistinct in a crowded sales media landscape, creating an opportunity to align its presence, messaging, and identity with the confidence and caliber of its voice.
Noticing that both sales and entertainment celebrate performance and personality, I developed an identity system that emphasizes that overlap. I rebuilt Landing Pad from the ground up, shifting it from a typical, no-nonsense sales podcast into a bold and culturally relevant brand that fuses authority with audacity, and spotlights sales professionals as the main act.
Inspired by iconic record labels, the Landing Pad mark is intentionally simple and stamp-like. It’s a badge of credibility that balances the brand’s expressive layouts while positioning Landing Pad as a platform for high-performance talent.
Typography adds extra layers to Landing Pad’s presence through scale, contrast, and assertive composition. Bold, high-impact layouts reflect the confidence and immediacy required in sales, while maintaining readability across formats. This allows the brand to feel expressive without compromising authority.
The color system uses warm tones to convey energy and approachability, while also distinguishing Landing Pad from the restrained palettes common in business media.
The new identity established a distinct cultural position for Landing Pad, increasing visual recognition and evolving it from a generic podcast into an ownable brand with depth, dimension, and unmistakable presence.
